Description

This game is a first person (puzzle kinda) platformer loosely inspired by the mission 'Effect and Cause' in Titanfall 2. The main idea of this game is that you can switch between two different dimensions, objects will be in one dimension but not the other. This was only made in about 2 days due to personal time constraints so there are obviously a lot of improvements to be made but I'm still pretty proud of it. Please let me know if you liked this concept along with any suggestions as I may expand on it in the future if it gets some positive feedback.

Issues

A list of issues I'm aware need to be fixed (sorry if these affected you):

  • Jumps can be too fast, I'm really sorry about this it was a big oversight on my part.
  • Wall colliders are one way (whoops).
  • Can get stuck in the entrance of rooms.

As others have mentioned about the jumping, it's a little tricky in places. But still fun to play. Really cool idea. I had fun, good job!

Thanks man, i feel so bad that i didn't notice how difficult it was haha.

Is your jumping tied to delta time? The jumping is so fast I can't platform.

should be, might need to check though

Thank you so much for pointing this out, I think i may have fixed it and it would be much appreciated if you could try out the new build to tell me if it works :D

Great game, but a lot of the jumps are pretty stiff. Some form of coyote time would be greatly appreciated.

I greatly agree, it was something which I planned to add and even started adding but never finished

Great Game But The Only Prob Is That The Game Is Too Short

Yeah I wanted to spend more time on it but didn’t get the chance :(

This is awesome! I love the design of the game and I think you did great with the music. I love that you are able to adjust the sensitivity as well!

thanks man really appreciate it, all credit for the music goes to icoso. Yeah the sensitivity slider was a bit last minute due to some friends play test but I’m glad I added it haha

The sensitivity is bad 4 me :(

As I say in the description, you can change it simply by pressing p and adjusting the slider

o thanks!

Everything looks great, the music is chill, and the concept is pretty cool, but my one problem with this game (and it's a big one) is that the jumping is super stiff and makes the simplest of jumps a real struggle.

(1 edit)

yeah I can agree with that, I really wanted to add some sort of coyote time to try and relieve this issue a bit but I never got around to it in the end

really nice job with this one retro! Music is great and the post processing is on point!
