Nice to see another chess game! The space thing is sadly a big annoyance.
Yeah that seems to have backfired on me :/
Since judging started, I don't know if you're still allowed, but if you can you can patch your game since the 48 hours don't have to be consecutive. (I totally had to do this)

Damn. Glad I managed to drag my SO into playtesting before time was up. Still dig the concept, chess game gang
Pretty good game, though i would suggest removing the need to press space for every move
Thanks for the feedback, yeah i added that in cause i originally had to have more possible turn actions like equiping weapons or something but didnt pan out
